EID-EL-KABIR: Ogun OMPAN felicitates with Muslims, urges good neighbourliness, moderation, sober reflection
TUESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2018
The Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (OMPAN), Ogun Chapter hereby felicitates with all Muslims across Nigeria, especially Ogun indigenes on the special occasion of the annual Eid-el-Kabir festival. As we merry and thank God for sparing our lives to witness this year's celebration, let's embrace peace, tolerance and unity at all levels. We however urge everyone of us to celebrate with moderation and deep reflection about our collective existence and show utmost love and care to one and another.
Let's continue to support and pray for our leaders and the continued sustenance of peace across the land in order to pave way for continued rapid socio-economic and political developments of our dear country.
Meanwhile, we charge the ever-supportive and hardworking government of Ogun State, under the able leadership of Senator Ibikunle Ikhil Amosun (FCA, CON) to do more in trade boosting, human capital and youth development commensurate to the state government's drive at ensuring massive Urban and Physical renewal as well as other life enhancing capital projects across the state so as to further improve the living standards of the people while continuing to make the state, a media friendly one at all times.
OMPAN, Ogun as an arm of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), under the able auspices of Comrade Kayode Akin - Samuel, together with the rest of the competent team shall continue to throw its weight behind the governments at all levels, both Local, state and National, through responsible, professional and development - focused digital practice and Online News management geared towards ensuring a better place for us all to live in. Oncemore, happy celebrations to our Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe and indeed, our great country Nigeria. God bless OMPAN, God bless Ogun State, God bless our great country, Nigeria. Signed,
